About

Code+Function is a collective space focused on delivering digestible content for the inquisitive mind and those interested in learning more about the technology that runs the web and mobile platforms we use daily. It is owned and operated by Anthony Cholmondeley, a software engineer with over 20+ years of experience building, designing and developing interactive experiences, scalable solutions and platforms for mobile and the web.

Anthony's journey started back in the early 90s in Trinidad when his dad, a tech junkie, exposed him to the early days of PCs and Macs. This experience developed his interest in tech, as he learned to code, draw, and design animations and interactions using HyperCard. After his A-level studies, he migrated to Canada. While working part-time, he further explored software development.

As a self-taught software engineer, he purchased books on the subject matter and was privileged to be gifted an old PC to explore his interests. Over the years, he freelanced to gain experience, which eventually led to him working with various startups and tech-focused companies in a variety of industries.

Currently, he works in Fintech. While still contracting his services to startups and small, medium and large companies to help implement solutions and processes for their business needs. He has a passion for solving problems, learning about new tools and implementations, and, as an avid gamer, developing fun interactions by utilizing today's technologies.
